Where Otterly fits

Teams that want an established prompt-tracking workflow and a URL audit alongside it.

The entry plan’s 15-prompt limit and Claude add-on deserve attention if you need many buying scenarios or that engine.

Ask before choosing a plan

  • How many distinct prompts do you need, and does each location or language use another slot?
  • Is Claude required for your audience, and what would the add-on cost at your plan?
  • Does the included audit give your developer enough detail to apply and verify a fix?

Compare methods, not just scores

Ask how prompts are chosen, which models and tools are used, how often answers are sampled, and whether raw citations are retained. A reported mention rate only makes sense alongside its prompt set and sample count. API output can differ from the answers a person sees in an app.

A crawler allowance or a valid JSON-LD block does not establish that an answer engine recommended a business. Treat technical readiness and observed mentions as separate evidence. Recheck the exact page after a fix, then measure answers over several runs before drawing a trend conclusion.

A reasonable next step

If the immediate issue is an inaccessible page, missing visible text or unclear structured data, start with a focused audit and fix it. If the job requires broad engine coverage, established history, reporting and collaboration, evaluate the dedicated platform against that requirement. This local implementation has not established production accuracy or business outcomes.
