AI visibility for
local businesses.
Make the service area, opening hours and contact information unambiguous for location-dependent customer questions.
Location changes the question
A nearby recommendation is only useful when the business actually serves the requested area. Name the service area and distinguish a staffed location from an area where the team travels. Put the address, phone and hours in ordinary text. If a business operates by appointment, say so clearly instead of making the reader infer it from a booking button.
Keep operational facts consistent
- Show the current business name and contact route on every real location page.
- Publish normal hours and a clear place for temporary closures or holiday changes.
- Explain which services are available at each location rather than duplicating a universal list.
- Use original local details such as accessibility, parking or service boundaries where relevant.
Use a real entity model
LocalBusiness can represent the operating business, with a suitable more specific type when one exists. Service can describe a defined service and PostalAddress the actual address. An illustrative summary could read: “[Brand] repairs [equipment] at its [city] workshop; collection is available within [verified area].” Do not invent locations to match additional search terms. Public location claims must agree with the page and the business’s operating reality.
Keep samples local and stable
Include the same city and service constraints in repeated prompts. A generic national recommendation is a different observation from a neighborhood query. Check whether citations point to your actual location page or an outdated directory, and correct the source fact before drawing conclusions about answer quality.
